Story:
Son of Sardar tells the story of Rajveer Singh (Ajay Devgan) who works for his friend (Salman Khan) in London. One day he receives a letter from his hometown that he is about to get a piece of land. Rajveer returns to his country to get his part. On his way to Punjab he meets Jiya (Sonakshi Sinha) in a train. They both didn’t know about the dispute between their families and fall in love with each other. Jiya’s uncle Ranvijay Singh (Sanjay Dutt) and his two nephews (Mukul Dev and Vindu Dara Singh) soon come to know that Rajveer’s father was the killer of Ranvijay Singh’s brother and they decide to take revenge from Rajveer. But Rajveer enters their house as a guest and as per the tradition, guests are like Gods. So Ranvijay Singh waits until he gets out of his house. The rest of the story is about how Rajveer escapes without getting hurt by the enemies and how he gets his love Jiya.
Verdict:
Son Of Sardar is a complete entertainment movie by Ashwini Dhir but has some meaningless jokes. Ajay Devgan has done a good work as a Sardar but could have done even better. Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt were also good at their place. It has very good background music and songs. The first half of the movie has good entertainment portion and action sequence in the second half.
Watch Son Of Sardar only if you want to have an entertainment in this festive season.
