Calf raising is usually of two types i.e Seated calf raising and standing calf raising. Seated calf raising is a comfortable exercise because weight of the upperbody is rested on the seat that is this exercise is performed in seated position whereas standing calf raising is done as by name in standing position and raising the heels continuously as far as possible but not in fast motion. Weights are commonly used in standing calf raising to provide more effects but it is very effective even with body weight only.
